'07 MI RB/DB Quincy Landingham (Wisconsin signee)

Quincy hasn't mentioned OSU as much because he doesn't have an offer yet. IF he gets an offer from OSU, you can bet that they'll be his #1 team over Purdue, Michigan State, Stanford, and Indiana. The problem is that OSU already has a top safety committed and is on other high profile guys at the position (such Eugene Clifford) which means Quincy will have to wait it out to get an offer if he gets one at all. I don't think he'll come in at RB to any school to be honest, he's a much better player on defense than he is on offense. Defense is where his future is at in college.

Have you seen him play?

Do you think he is a top-10 player in Michigan this year?

Like I said, it will be tough for him to get an offer. We are already loaded at safety, and are in on quite a few again this year.

Has offers from Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, and Stanford. Will play either strong safety or running back in college. No mention of tOSU.

Early on obviously it seemed like he was a big OSU lean, now he hasnt mentioned them and isnt listing them anymore. I think it will be hard for Quincy to get an offer at safety, and I also think that the staff has running backs ahead of him.

If Quincy gets an OSU offer he is a buckeye, he is just waiting. If I had to bet, he might get an offer after his camp there this summer, but probably not before then. WVU is also after Quincy.

I think this is the Top 10 in Michigan

1) Ronald Johnson
2) Joe Barksdale
3) Keith Nichol
4) Dionte Allen
5) Chris Colosanti
6) Taurian Washington
7) Darris Sawtelle
8) Cedric Everson
9) Mark Dell
10) Derek Knight

I'd say Quincy is probably in the Top 15, but not Top 10. I've seen him play once, and he's a very explosive hitter on D but he's very raw in pass coverage. He's a beast against the run though so I think he could even play LB in college if he gets big enough. He's probably pushing 200 right now so it's not out of the question.

The Badgers have converted Landingham from safety to running back after it appeared he'd be buried on the depth chart as a DB, and UW needed more tailbacks in the wake of the John Clay situation and subsequent depth crisis.
