I just get a negative vibe with this guy. I know he is a player but he has a ton of attitude.

interesting that was a knock on hawk to some extent, and many nfl people cooled on carpenter based on his approach. confidence and cockiness are a fine line in sports. to me seperated by work ethic...

Godd for us. As mentioned before... another bad season by Michigan, and if their defense doesn't improve, English could get canned. Or, on the other hand... English was almost hired away by the NFL, so an impressive performance could lead to a better job. The later RoJo waits, the more it favors us :).

The only way English gets canned is if he leaves with Carr. He's probably their best position coach on either side of the ball and best recruiter. And IF there were assistant coaching changes by Carr, you can bet they wouldn't be announced until after signing day.

From the ND site...Ronald says USC, Michigan State, Michigan, and Kansas State are the schools that are coming on the hardest right now. He also speaks to Texas and Ohio State.
