Finan will be a three-year varsity starter in 2006. As a junior, he had 75 solo tackles and caused three fumbles. On offense, Finan rushed for 200 yards and scored a touchdown. Named all-conference as a junior. Son of Illinois Mr. Football (1979) Marty Finan.

From Scout.com...Jack's early favorites are Northern Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Michigan, Tennessee and Ohio State. His father was recruited to play at Notre Dame but suffered a career-ending injury before ever playing a down for the Irish.
