Donte holds offers from Duke and Florida. He is also receiving serious attention from Notre Dame, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, and Alabama. He does expect offers from all of the schools showing interest and says his top three consists of Florida, Notre Dame, and Georgia.

Might want to add FL to the thread title. Right now it just reads '07 DT. Also isn't Pampano the school where Jackson and Taz were from? If so they seemed very pro-OSU during their recruitments.

From the ND site...Nicholls holds offers from Duke, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Arizona State, Wisconsin, Central Florida and Wake Forest, among others. He is also hearing from Notre Dame, Florida State, Miami.

From Scout.com...Nicholls is up to 10 offers (Auburn, Georgia, Arizona State, Wake Forest, South Carolina, UCF, USF, FIU, FAU, and Akron). According to this article, Florida has not offered yet and is still evaluating him.

We seem to be in on some stellar DL recruits, so the news on this one doesn't hurt as bad as it could have. Still, Martin, Barksdale, Morgan, Brent, and Jeremiah are all viable options and, imo, we get 4 of those 6 mentioned.

Big DT To Visit USC

 DL Donte'e Nicholls (6-2 300) of Pompano Beach, FL says he will set an official visit with USCarolina for this fall. "I'm trying to get in touch with them" to set a date Nicholls said. He has set a visit with Auburn for October 14th. He will also set a visit with Georgia and maybe with Alabama. Nicholls has 27 offers including USC, Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Wisconsin, Arizona State, West Virginia, Rutgers, Indiana and South Florida. He does not have a favorite. Nicholls had 70 tackles and 9 sacks last season.

Eight Broward players nominated for game

Eight county players have been nominated for the annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the premier high school football all-star game.

Of the 400 athletes nominated across the country, 80 will be selected to play. Three Boyd Anderson players, linebacker Josh Bynes and offensive linemen Kevin Bryant and Branden Curry, are being considered.

Also nominated were St. Thomas Aquinas standouts Leonard Hankerson and Major Wright, and Chaminade-Madonna's Akeem Auguste and Xavier Stinson.

Ely's Donte'e Nicholls also is a nominee for the game that will be played in January.

Big Defensive Lineman To Visit USC

 DL Donte'e Nicholls (6-2 300) of Pompano Beach, FL says he will set an official visit date with USC. He is scheduled for an official visit to Auburn October 14th. He also plans to set official visits with West Virginia and Georgia. He does not have a favorite and has not been to any games this season. Nicholls has narrowed his list down to his four visits from 27 offers.
