Sounds like some damage repair by the Miami side. If OSU decides to pursue, this could get very interesting. They are now aware of Van Dyke's interest so we'll have to see what happens.

Watching ESPN tonight, they mentioned that Van Dyke is watching the "Fire Larry Coker" movement very closely and has hinted at re-opening his recruitment.

the fire coker movement has gone so far as Mike and Mike this morning said that miami alumni have hired planes to fly over the orange bowl saturday with banners reading "Fire Coker. The fans deserve better."

Funny how they cant fill the Orange Bowl on a regular basis but have enough devotion to hire planes....Van Dyke would be a good grab since he has a ton of potential but is still pretty raw. This staff could turn him into a terrific CB, but again, if they think they have room for him and truly like him over some others...

Someone on tv had mentioned that trustees and alumni had met in Tampa. Even the alumni get the hell out of Miami as soon as they can. It would explein why so few go to home games. They don't live there anymore.
