A talented multi-threat quarterback in Miami Dade County, Guyton is coming off a strong junior season. In just six games, he passed for 849 yards and five touchdowns. Running the football, he had over 200 yards and three touchdowns (averaging over 8 per carry). Because he's a bit undersized to be a Div. 1 quarterback, many schools will recruit him as a wide receiver.

Guyton: "I just understand the game really well. I have good football smarts. I know when running lanes open up. I can beat teams running or throwing."

"I think I'm very smart on the field. I know what to do in big situations and know how to handle the team to keep them on the right track. If we're down, I know how to pick them back up."

Damage control from the Canes site...Guyton once had Miami way in front but now says he is wide open. He has offers from Illinois, Miami (FL), Ole Miss and Pitt.

FYI, Guyton is listed as a 4-star WR, QB by Scout and a 3-star ATH by Rivals...no word on what OSU is looking at him as, although my guess would obviously be WR/CB.

Guyton later caught a 30-yard touchdown pass that gave the Broncos a 31-0 lead. He finished with 92 yards passing and 152 yards rushing on only six carries.

UCF is loading up on solid, speed athletes, thought hey are very highly rated (except for Alphonso Bryant a 4* ATH). It looks like O'Leary just wants to make the defense faster (which is exactly we my Knights need) whether they be ranked high or not.
