Hodgepodge mentioned this in another thread, but here's Pat's. For some reason he's leaving Penn State. I mean.....I can't blame him, but still...it seams like an odd move.
Best of luck to him where ever he goes. I always root for the smart ones who get out of that hell hole when given a chance.

Assuming he red shirted already, he either goes FCS and can play for 2 years or goes somewhere else and sits out a year to play 1. It doesn't make much sense for him to do either. I can't see a way where he wouldn't have taken over after Clark left. Maybe even taken over for Clark.

Following in Joe Flacco's footsteps, Pat Devlin became the latest high-profile recruit to transfer out of a Division I-A program and onto the roster of Division I-AA Delaware when the former Penn State quarterback committed to the Blue Hens yesterday.
Devlin, a former high school all-American at Downingtown East High, gave coach K.C. Keeler his pledge after a visit to the Newark campus over the weekend, according to a source close to Devlin.
