Above are from Akron Camp on June 12th. He will be at the OSU camp on the 24th. He is projected as a Linebacker. No offers but lots of contacts. Went to Youngstown and Miami OH camps. Part of the "Under the radar" group in the top 105 in Ohio.

Wooster runs the Wing-T and in 2004 he ran the slot (65-675 7 TD Rec 8-156 2 TD) and with Joe Gantz leaving he will fill the shoes of Gantz at Fullback.

I am not employed at Wooster HS and have no kids, so Ryan is not my son.

Go check him out for yourself on June 24th.

4.52 40 when Wells ran a 4.50 in track spikes and he is a god to others on here and recruits. Kopina is not at a school in Columbus, Cleveland or Cinicinnatti so he is not looked at or treated like a recruit.
Woopass - we appreciate your enthusiasm for the local kids, but comparing Ryan Kopina to Chris Wells is a bit of a stretch - Wells is unquestionably the number one recruit in the state of Ohio, one of the top 50 in the entire nation, and a kid whom every major college program wanted. Really, we do wish Ryan the best (and Chris Meenan and Cory Palmer), but he's not in the same league as Chris Wells.

Have you seen Wells play? Have you seen Kopina play? I dont see how you can or cant compare the two, because you cant and neither can I.
I have seen Wells play - he is as good as advertised. I haven't seen Ryan play, but he'd have to be one heck of a player to compare to Chris Wells.

A few images from Perry game. 220 yards on 22 carries in a 35-21 loss.
A variety of images. The images show what he had to go though all night with 4 and 5 guys on him, also a nice block on a KO.

btw, his ex-teammate, joe gantz, is a walk-on this year and probably is on the lacrosse team.
