From Scout.com...James has an offer from Miami (OH) and Ball State. He is most interested in Ohio State, Michigan State and West Virginia.

While James may be a longshot for an offer, if we miss out on several key players like Bowman or Moeller, James could be at least in the mid to receive an offer from Ohio State. He is between 6-1 and 6-2 and plays around 200-210 lbs. and was 2nd Team All-Ohio as a Junior. Just a kid to keep your eye on...

Here are his numbers from the Nike camp in Ann Arbor...

Height: 6-foot-1.5
Weight: 191 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.97 seconds
Shuttle speed: 4.25
Bench press: 14 reps
Vertical leap: 30.8 inches

That 4.97 is laser-timed, and although some people may see it and think he is slow, keep in mind only the top 10 fastest kids at the combine posted a 40 time under 4.9. The fastest time was a 4.50. Anyways, I think James is worth at least tracking this fall...

This might be a reach, but one school I wouldnt be suprised to see come in the mix is Wake. They have two players from the lima area on their team and one is from Lima Senior(Bryan Andrews).

I might have to go watch him play this year as the stadium is right around the corner from my house.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Pool rank James as the 10th best LB in the Midwest...this kid is going to be a nice pickup for someone. Miami (OH) is the only offer I think he has so far and if he ends up there he could be a real solid player for the Redhawks.
