It has to be academics. Brown has a lot of talent.
Two key Bengals choose Bowling Green, Toledo

From staff reports
They were key players in Benedictine's drive to the 2004 Division III state title and helped the Bengals reach the playoffs this year.
Now, seniors Jahmal Brown and Alex Steigerwald will test their mettle at the next level.
Brown, one of the premier running backs in Cuyahoga County, has made an oral commitment to Bowling Green. Steigerwald, one the area's most reliable place-kickers/punters, has given his commitment to Toledo.
"I like the Bowling Green campus, the players and coaches, and I have a real good chance of playing as a freshman," said Brown, a 5-10, 190-pounder who gained 1,349 yards and scored 20 touchdowns this season.
Brown also gained interest from Eastern Michigan, Toledo, West Virginia and Pittsburgh.
Undecided about his major, Brown will play safety for the Falcons.
Steigerwald is coming off a season in which he kicked 29 extra-points, seven field goals and averaged 42.9 yards per punt.
"The Toledo atmosphere reminded me a lot of Benedictine," said Steigerwald, who will major in business. "It's a small, cozy campus."
The 5-11, 170-pounder also considered West Virginia and Wisconsin.
"The coaches told me when two-a-days start, I'm their starting kicker," Steigerwald said. "That's all I really needed to hear."
