As expected, Nick Aldridge, a 6-6 230 pound forward from South Webster High, committed to Cincinnati during a weekend visit. He is a real sleeper, who was not invited to many camps or showcases but did average a double-double this past season.

You probably have never heard of Nick Aldrige because South Webster is a small d4 school. I've got to see him a couple of times. He led his team to the state semis as a sophomore, and the regional finals as a junior (they lost to Columbus Africentric.) Aldrige is a nice post player, but lacks quickness and explosiveness. Seems like a good kid, who could turn out to be a solid contributer at Cincy. IMO, he seemed more like a MAC player, but who knows, maybe Cincy found a good one.

Aldridge has verbaled to Western Carolina. He was originally verbaled to Cincy prior to Huggins being fired.
