'06 OH OL/DT Aaron Brown (Virginia Tech Signee)

"Ohio State, I've known Ohio State my whole life," Brown said. "It's a great school with great coaches. I could see myself there. Basically, all of the schools I could see myself going there. The big thing will be how I feel with the coaches."

Gotta love that. If it comes down to the coaches, I'll put my money on Tress and his staff every time.

From the Auburn site...Aaron is leaving for Auburn after his game tomorrow night. Then he will visit OSU, Louisville, Virginia Tech and Miami (FL), in that order. He will announce on 10/6 at a press conference.

I can't say I get the same feeling based on reading all of the interviews...

I would have to think his experience in the Shoe on 10 Sept against Texas will dwarf all of the others combined. Aubrun plays Georgia Tech, Louisville plays Oregon State, VaTech plays Georgia Tech and Miami plays South Florida.
The more I read the more I am back to my original feeling of OSU being a no-brainer here. I dont believe they have done anything to lose here, the Texas game and other recruits should just put them over the top.

Also, there appears to be some teams missing from that list, I better ask Pool what happened to Florida and Tennessee on that list? :wink2:

One would think it's a no-brainer but stranger things have happened. The truth is that speculating about what Aaron or George are thinking at this point is just a waste of time because they have kept everything tightly under wraps. I still think he ends up at OSU. Honestly I could not imagine an Ohio kid choosing VaTech or Louisville over OSU. Auburn I could see, given the tradition and pageantry of big time SEC football, especially at Jordan-Hare. And it is a strong school academically. Miami is the other one that really concerns me considering how electric games are in the Orange Bowl and the fact that they are a big name and the weather is great and Coker is a heck of a recruiter. Beamer obviously is bringing something to the table to get an offical out of the Browns, but anyone who has been to Blacksburg can attest to what kind of town it is. Personally, I wouldn't have gone to college there even if you had paid me...

Brown visited Auburn over the weekend and he gave the visit a 10. The family atmosphere and coaching stood out to him. His next visit is to Ohio State on 9 Sept. He will announce his college choice on 6 Oct.

A '10'? I would assume he's being polite, since they lost to a visiting Georgia Tech team that's probably a middle-of-the pack ACC team.

I wish. Im a subscriber to the Bucknuts and he wouldnt shut up about Auburn. He LOVED the "Cat Walk" and said that just about every fan knew his name and face and would yell "War Eagle" to him....I know that Skull Session will trump the Cat Walk and not to mention, our field entrance is MUCH better than their. They have the smoke, but we have the tunnel of pride.

C'mon Aaron - you knew home is.
