Heck, he's OSU's key recruiting target right now, too.

Rutgers is an improving program, and New Jersey OL Jeremy Zuttah selected the Knights two years ago over offers from Ohio State, Iowa, Pitt, Maryland, and some others. It wouldn't shock me to see Adjepong go with Rutgers.

Big East Recruiting Blitz......

Rivals250 defensive end enjoys Rutgers

Rutgers is definitely going to battle with some big competition for the likes of the four-star rated Jason Adjepong. After taking trips to Michigan, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech, the Scarlet Knights had the next crack at the No. 5 rated player in New Jersey.

There was little to prove apparently because the highly touted player already held Rutgers in high regards.

"I felt strong about it before and I still feel strong after," Adjepong said. "I got to talk about specific majors and got a better look at the school. My mom also really enjoyed it."

With everything very even in the race for the star defender, he says that a decision timeframe is up in the air. He also is unsure if he will take a fifth official visit. Apparently though, the Knights are in as solid of a position as they could be at this point.

"I had no clue how the players were personally until I got to be around them for two days," he said.
