Norman has been extremely impressive at the Shrine Bowl practices and has started hearing from South Carolina, but he expects to hear from more staffs. He has been competing against fellow NC teammate Josh Adams and will likely earn the starting role.

Shrine Bowl MVP Hears From USC

RB Norman Whitley (5-10 190) of Rockingham, NC earned offensive MVP honors for the Tar Heels in their Shrine Bowl win rushing for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. For his season he rushed for 2159 yards and 24 touchdowns. Whitley has offers from East Carolina and North Carolina and plans to visit Virginia January 13th. He also heard from USC while at the Shrine Bowl and is waiting to hear back from his Gamecock recruiter Dave Wommack.

Norman still only has offers from East Carolina and North Carolina. He is hoping for more interest after the current dead period is over. He plans to visit Virginia in January. No mention of tOSU.

Sure seems that Norman isn't in tOSU's plans.

Norman could end up at South Carolina...they are scrambling after losing Carlos Brown. I agree though, tOSU is done with him. Locked down.
