Pierre is ranked as the #26 prospect in North Carolina this year. He plays at national powerhouse Charlotte Independence High School which has churned out players such as Chris Leak. Currently, Pierre is playing guard for Indepence, but he will likely project as a center on the next level. He was first team all-state as a junior. Pierre is not very interested in recruiting right now as he will wait until after his season to take his visits and make a choice. Pierre's only offer is from LSU.

North Carolina OL Receiving Interest From USC & Clemson

OL Pierre Andrews (6-3 280) of Charlotte, NC has received attention from several schools this spring and summer. Andrews had an excellent junior season in which he averaged three pancake blocks per game. Andrews' only offer at this point is from LSU. Boston College, North Carolina, USC, Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Maryland have all been in contact. When asked to describe himself as a player, Andrews said, "I am very aggressive and get off the ball really quick. Basically my motor is always running." Andrews had shoulder surgery the week following the Super Bowl and that has prevented him from being able to do much in the weightroom, but that has not kept him from showing off his skills at different camps sessions. Andrews has already attended camps at USC and Tennessee and will be traveling to camps at Virginia and Virginia Tech in July. He currently has no favorites.
