Brooks said all three could return to the team once they satisfy their academic obligations but didn't indicate whether he expected them back when spring practice begins on March 28.

Micah Johnson was voted to the Southeastern Conference's All-Freshman team after collecting 29 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 13 games. He also scored a one-yard touchdown while lining up at running back in Kentucky's win over Clemson in the Music City Bowl. He was the state's high school player following his senior year at Fort Campbell High in 2005.
