'06 GA WR Chris Slaughter (Auburn signee; transfer to Fort Valley State)

"are you saying that Georgia is a better recruiting state than Ohio? bc i would be skeptical on that remark."

I don't want this to turn into an Ohio vs. Georgia thread. So I'll post a new thread (response) on the main OSU board.

Are you sure you can find your way over there in the crack-induced stupor you're under? Georgia may not even put out the same amount of D-I players as Ohio does, let alone twice as many.

Mili,

Nice sarcasm, I found my over there just fine. Check out my post.

P.S. I'm talking about BCS caliber players also. Ohio produces a lot of MAC talent, funny there is six MAC schools in Ohio.

P.S.S. I went to one of them.

USC Among Receiver's Favorites

By Phil Kornblut
WR Chris Slaughter (6-4 175) of Fort Valley, GA has a dozen offers on the table and says his favorites from that group are USC, Auburn, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, Miami and Florida State. He does not have a leader but says he does have real interest in the Gamecocks. "They are going to throw the ball," he said. And that would make Slaughter happy. He had 46 catches for 1016 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. Slaughter has not been to any camps yet but plans to goto one at Georgia this Friday.

Didn't realize this but Slaughter is a member of Rivals Top 250...6'3" and runs a 4.55. Put 15 pounds on this kid when he gets to college and he could be a real beast at WR.

Just wanted to reiterate that OSU was a childhood favorite... as it seemed to be very lightly mentioned on this thread.

This would be an outstanding combo out of GA. He sounds like a solid WR, and having a WR for Henton that knows so well already is a huge plus.

He is really good from the film i've seen on him and I would rate him pretty high up with our WR's we are after. I think Ausberry is a little better but I think Slaughter is better than Lyons. He is really smooth. I hadn't heard that he was an OSU fan thats good news.

On scout he says to have a top four of Auburn,Michigan,South Carolina, and OSU. Will likely visit those 4 schools for sure.

make sure you look through the previos posts...bn44820 already linked that same article above...

Just a quick question....Does anyone know how this kids grades are?

I can't find anything about his GPA or ACT but you have to think if Michigan has also offered he must be in decent shape academically...

My bad I thought that was a seperate article. I'm pretty sure this hasn't been posted it's a video of Chris Slaughter and Antonio Henton with their whole team in action. Henton is # 7 and Slaughter is # 12 I believe. Slaughter looks very impressive but so does their whole team.Quite a few of them signed big scholarships last year.

Rivals $

7/25/05

From Rivals100.com...Slaughter camped at Auburn. His top 5 is South Carolina, Auburn, Michigan, Ole Miss and Ohio State. He will take his visits before deciding.
It won't be scUM, Auburn or Old Mess. It will come down to playing for Spurrier or a national championship caliber program. If he's smart, he'll look at the relative NFL track records of U. of Florida fun and gun receivers and tOSU receivers.
