Keith is from the same high school as 2004 OL prospect Chris Rutledge, who considered Ohio State before signing with Miami.

From the Pitt site...Keith is most interested in Miami (FL), Ohio State, Rutgers and Pittsburgh. He once commited to Rutgers, and reluctantly still calls them his leader. Miami and OSU want him as a DB.

My take: If he doesn't get an offer from Miami, he ends up at Rutgers. If Miami offers, he accepts in a heartbeat.

Weird situation......Houston has not gotten the official offer from Miami yet but intends to verbal on the spot once he gets the offer BUT......two weeks ago he was kicked off his high school football team for team violations and now has transferred effective today to Miami Norland High School, he is not sure wether the Miami staff is aware of this.

Miami Rivals - 10/11/05

A weird situation getting weirder - before the season, Houston was kicked off of his high school team (Miami Dr. Krop), so he transferred to Miami Norland. However, the administration of Miami Norland wouldn't allow him to play there, either. Now, Houston has transferred again, this time to Parkway Academy, where he is now a teammate of Devin Parrish.

Keith still claims that he wants to be a 'Cane, but that the Miami staff hasn't been in touch since August (when Houston was still a member of the Dr. Krop team); he also claims an offer from Ohio State....
