Hunter is very interested in Wake Forest. He has offers from UCLA, UConn, Stanford, Colorado, Wake, Southern Miss, Air Force, Army, Navy, Toledo, Ball State and Florida International. He should know if Clemson and GT are going to offer very soon. Hunter camped this summer at WVU, Alabama, GT, OSU and Clemson. The OSU coaches told him he was the #2 FB target on their list behind a FB from California (Chane Moline, I presume), so he thinks he has a decent shot at an offer from the Buckeyes. He grew up a big fan of Alabama.

FlaVarsity.com

Two video clips of Hunter from a Spring game in which he had 12 tackles and an interception.

SunshinePreps

Another selection of video clips, mostly showing Hunter as a tough run-stopping linebacker from last season.

Hunter's videos are rather impressive, although the SunshinePrep ones don't really show much other than Hunter blowing up running plays or blitzing. Both his style of play and the #51 on his back remind me of Anthony Schlegel. He needs to work on his tackling technique a bit (doesn't really break down or keep his feet moving all the time) and he tends to get lost sometimes after engaging the fullback on an ISO. To me it is pretty obvious that the SunshinePrep videos are from last season and the FlaVarsity clips are from just a few months ago just by watching him play. In the FlaVarsity clips, Hunter looks a) much bigger and faster and b) much more polished as a linebacker, even picking a ball off on a nice read. If he continues to develop as much as he has from last year to this year, he may get that OSU offer after all. Whether it will be as a linebacker or a fullback remains to be seen...

I was just going off what Hunter told the reporter.
right, but sometimes recruits get confused about where they stand with a staff. I think if JT can land Minor, he takes him over Hunter every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Considering Moline commited almost a month ago, you'd think Haynes would have his offer by now...

Yeah I just wonder if there arent some under the radar fb's that the staff may want to see or maybe they are waiting on Hunter's film.

I also agree with you on minor.
