Clemson Has Edge With Green

 DE Hivera Green (6-5 268) of Conway visited Clemson over the weekend and says Clemson currently has a slight lead over USC which he visited earlier in the month. "It was a good trip," he said. "I had a nice time. They've got a real good recruiting class. And I know I have a good chance to come in and start early." Green will not take a visit this weekend because of school exams. He will visit Virginia Tech on the 28th. Tech coach Frank Beamer will make his in home visit Tuesday. Clemson coach Tommy Bowden will be in Wednesday.
