In the latest Insiders update Hannah mentioned he had a top 7 and it did not include Ohio State although he does still plan on camping in Columbus this summer. Maybe we show a little more interest with the recent loss at the position?

Rivals is still showing Hannah with "medium" interest in Ohio State, although Virginia Tech and N.C. State lead at the present time (although two months ago, those schools' respective arch-rivals, Virginia and North Carolina, both led - recruiting is nothing if not strange). His impressive offer list includes his two current favorites, plus Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Penn State, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Duke, and East Carolina. His father, Joe Hannah, played at N.C. State in the late 70's, and that will certainly be a factor in Jonathan's decision.

His Rivals videos show him mostly at OT, and he could certainly grow into one in college; he is also being recruited by some schools (including N.C. State) as a DE. He is big and athletic, but a bit raw as a blocker. An intriguing prospect, to be sure - I hope that he makes it up to OSU's camp.

Rivals has video of Hannah and he's a very nice looking prospect. The majority of the video showed Hannah run blocking. He comes off the ball well, sets his feet and blocks until the whistle blows. There are plays he looks more like an offensive tackle than he does a TE. He'd obviously fit in very well here

The couple of catches they showed were nice and he rumbles with the ball in his hands. Hopefully we can move up his list after his visit to Columbus. He has all the physical attributes you could look for in a Big Ten tight end.

In the latest update Hannah mentions he is working on getting his 40 time down into the 4.6 range. He lists no favorites but the Buckeyes are mentioned as one of the schools courting him.

Hannah recently camped at Oklahoma and picked up an offer. The two schools he was most impressed with on his visits have been Penn State and Oklahoma. He mentioned PSU, North Carolina and NC State are recruiting him the hardest. No mention of tOSU in this update.

Hannah was the one TE whom the Bucks might have had some interest in this year, but he made it known early on that he didn't want to leave the region. After committing to Virginia Tech a week before Signing Day, Jonathan signed with South Carolina. It looks like Spurrier had quite a recruiting haul in his first year back, expecially amongst receivers (Hannah [4*], Carlos Thomas [4*], Jared Cook [3*], Freddie Brown [3*], O.J. Murdock [4*], Shea McKeen [4*]).
