I would be surprised if Georgia doesn't try to get on this kid in a hurry. It also doesn't help that his former teammate (Thomas Brown) also plays at Georgia. But stranger things have happed!!

Does it trip anyone out that a heavy FSU lean like Hayes all the sudden goes and commits to Tenn on his visit this weekend? I mean how many LB'rs do they have now?

True but he is in Columbus until monday so he will get some face to face time with JT who was scrambling to meet with recruits after returning from Orlando.

Tavares was impressed with his tOSU visit although he was sick from saturday until he left. He did not get to participate in everything but did see the stadium and the academic program presentation. The visit was enough to put tOSU in the final three along with Georgia and SC. He will visit UGA this weekend and probably make a decision after that. Tavares is expecting coaches from Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Ohio State, Maryland and North Carolina this week.

In my most humble opinion, I don't know how anyone could decide against tOSU in comparison with Georgia and South Carolina. Well, there is the weather, but other than that...

Also keep in mind its his homestate. So not only are they possible favorite teams of his, but he can drive home in 1-3 hours probably. That's a big difference for his family coming to see games and such.

I agree with you grad with them being the homestate. I just don't want to lose another recruit so USC.

cold as hell + sick all weekend = bad time

I might be able to understand Georgia, but I agree with you on SC. Spurrier may help attract some recruits, but I would think that would mainly be on offense.
