'05 FL QB Carlton "CJ" Jackson (Akron signee)

I know he is being recruited as a Athlete and he wants to be a QB but what other positions would he consider? He has great size and good speed for a RB maybe or a DB, or is he set on QB?
I don't know which would be the best position for him but I sure like his size and the possibilities.

With his size and speed you'd have to think QB, WR or corner, wouldn't you? When I talked to him he was pretty adamant about playing QB. Maybe I should call him again.

Nutty I don't disagree with you at all. I was just asking what all his options would be at Ohio State. With that size he'd be great at QB. I'd love to see him at any position he desires. If thats the position he wants to play, by all means I'd love to see him succeed at that position. It was just listing him as an athlete on some of the recruiting sites and I was just wondering if that was the only position he wanted to play. Versatility is a good thing to have at this level. I sure hope he commits. He'd make a great Buckeye !!!

Hope you liked the Game CJ. It's like that each and every game; every year!! Maybe not as juiced as the M!ch!gan game but its still loud and fun no matter what game you go too.
We'd love to have you join the Buckeye family ...

As an OSU fan, I agree that OSU has the best home game environment. But, to say that every game is like the Michigan game (particularly yesterday's) is an exageration. I wish every game had that noise level.

By the way, did anyone see CJ at the game?

i dont think CJ went to the game.. I thought he would be there but I remember HH sayin that Ronnie and Hodge got on the plane together..with no mention of CJ.. I would find it odd that CJ wouldn't be traveling with ronnie

I am sure that CJ and everyone else knows that it's alot more exciting at the OSU vs. M#ch!gan games because its one of the very best rivalry games there is, but it is still exciting and loud at each and every game at Ohio Stadium (that was my point) but yes your right the M!ch!gan game is a cut above the rest in the season. CJ or any recruit can go to any game in the year and still feel the excitement of the game. The Stadium is always full and fun. I've been to alot of other stadiums in the country and Ohio Stadium is still one of the very best to go too. Very few come up to the level of excitement and electricity that OSU stadium has...

El Mastiff,

Try not too read too much into the posts, and pay more attention to CJ Jackson. Isn't that what's most important on this site? I didn't read anything into your post...I quoted you. I go to every home game and there is no comparison between the Michigan game and the other home games. As I said in my last post, I agree that OSU has the best home game environment. Nonetheless, the preconference games and some conference games are rather tame.

I wouldn't place too much importance on our posts. I don't think any recruit will select OSU based upon what you or I post. Really all of this is moot since CJ wasn't there and he doesn't have an offer.

Well, as in most years, it will be a numbers game as to who OSU can offer. However, I would think that in light of the Smith/Zwick competition, OSU might want to have CJ as an option in the future (We'll see).

OSUgrad21 - I'm not trying to be smart, but name one.
