Orji is fast but he’s not good at the “read” part of those read runs at all which takes him down a big notch in the running department. It feels like they are going to get a snap split split of Orji and someone else who’s a “better” thrower at QB to start the season. They’ve got a giant hard on...
Their QBs looked mediocre-bad in their spring game. Offense in general as well. Orji they still were hesitant to let throw much and when they did he made some bad ones, including a comical over throw of a wide open WR on 3rd down. Warren the former walk on looked a bit better being captain check...
My worry is the bullpen running out of gas. They’ve been lights out so far but They are getting a lot of usage with the shaky rotation and I doubt we see that usage slow down. The offense is definitely encouraging though
Thought my SP was turning it around after the last couple of days. Then Hunter Brown goes and gives up NINE RUNS in 2/3rd of a inning against the fucking Royals
Thats a 121.50 ERA and 18 WHIP for the game.
From their Hayden transfer portal thread over at GoBlow.
DFBIA at it's finest.
Ohio State has 2 proven elite backs. scUM has Donovan Edwards who was wildly inconsistent last year and then a bunch of unknowns. They swear Mullings is a proven back for some reason but the guy has done nothing...
Another W spoiling the Twins season opener. Hunter Gaddis managed to escape a inherited bases loaded 1 out jam only giving up 1 run in what coulda been a disaster inning.
Kwan is red hot with 8 hits in the last 3 games.
