As long as the ohio kid isn't competing against the buckeyes or your favorite ohio team, why not be happy for them? Lebron doesn't owe the state of ohio his basketball career.
no. Trust me, I get why people are upset, but it's a little overboard. All I'm saying. I'd have loved him to represent ohio and have won a title with cleveland just as much as anyone else but what's done is done and in the end he's still a kid from Ohio and I'm happy he won a title.
I guess you can say that about any person that works for a living. Who's really supporting who? Without workers, basketball players, employers and fans would have no business, no entertainment. It's really a dumb point to say that he'd be nothing without the fans, when in reality it's HIS hard...
not sure anyone has mentioned this, but the thing that stings the most to me is losing out to florida again. Indians vs Marlins, Buckeyes vs gators '06 title game basketball and football, sharrif floyd to florida over ohio state...
Lebron choose a florida team over an ohio team and went out...
lol how can you not after all the grade school hate he gets?
I wish I could have tuned into 97.1 today to hear riggerpotty and krenzel cry about how much they hate lebron.
True, but those same people have to consider what he did for Cleveland the whole time he was there. Cleveland wouldn't have been playing boston if it weren't for Lebron.
Was it that he quit or that he hadn't yet learned how to be a closer and lead a team? Even last year, you can argue he...
There's numerous posts in this thread, where that smiley would have better been served. I'm not the one crying, here.
You honestly think he'd be that much less hated if he left but didn't do "the decision" As bad as the announcement was, I think it just gives people an excuse to hate on...
just find it funny how so many people have such strong feelings of hatred over a basketball player. Lebron has never come across as a mean spirited person to me. I wish he would have won a title in ohio, but I wish everyone here that's throwing stones at him would have their personal decisions...
not one...not two...not three...not four...not five...
lol It would have been better if it were in Cleveland, but still happy to see Lebron win a title.
Awesome. A while back, someone made a thread asking which recruit we most wanted in the class. I said Bosa and so did several other people. Very excited to have him in the class.
Read in an interview that he wants to be part of a college town and a program gunning for a national title. I can't think of a better college town and campus than what Ohio State has. And with Meyer and his no nonsense attitude, it seems like a good fit for him.
