I'm not sure where this belongs (probably in the garbage since it is from Brooks Melchior) but I'll leave it here anyhow.

I'm in the opposite camp right now. I think that OSU will (or already has) contact Meyer somehow to see if he would be interested in the job. And I think that if Meyer is interested (I think he probably is unless Ohio State gets completely bitch-slapped with sanctions), he will take the job...
Braxton certainly had a very promising debut in many facets: passing, running and decision-making. What I found most promising though was his confidence and poise. He looked like he belonged out there. I was expecting great things from Braxton before, but after watching him play yesterday, I...
I like Thomas' all around aggressive attitude. He obviously is not the passive type. Once he clean it up a bit (better shot selection, improve his positioning, etc), he's going to be a huge asset to the team. With his confidence it seems like he plays bigger than he really is.
Looks like this would be a great event to attend and is affordable by all. I had not heard anything about this, so I thought I'd give it a shout out.

That type of proactive counter is good. It does nothing to try to downplay or deny the case. It touts something that Ohio State under JT did well. And kudos that he gets for that (which will be far too little I am sure) will be well deserved.
I think it is wise to lay low at least until the NCAA has handed down its final judgement. If Ohio State takes an us versus the world mentality, Ohio State loses that battle and gets crushed. What has worked in the past should be done again. Under Andy Geiger and during the MC and TS...
And just as I posted BCast comes through with more info on the situation:

Looks like it may not be the bush-league tactic that it appeared to be at first.
It's now posted on The-Ozone forum. Here's a link to the post:

There was a premium article at Bucknuts that mentioned it too, but I hate sending them traffic. :D
Go Bucks!
I've read where Wisconsin is denying Buckeyes a chance to hold a shot-around prior to the game because of a "scheduling conflict" at the Kohl Center. The Buckeyes were offered a 7AM shot around as a consolation. Funny that when you look at the schedule there are no other events scheduled that...
I'm just glad to see the practice of oversigning finally starting to get the press it deserves. We've heard much ado about it lately and the choir is just getting warmed up in my opinion. You know when ESPN begins jumping on a subject like oversigning that is most widely practiced in its pet...
Like so many in central Ohio, I have had Verizon Wireless for what seems like forever. Their coverage is great and it seems like almost everybody I know uses them too, so you really have a lot of people you can use unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes with. However, my contract is up in March...
