    XBox Live

If tere was some way Xbox would let us filter out the opponents by age, I think that would help. I think a lot of the problems you are having is because you are dealing with kids who are only worried about higher rankings.

K Aaron Pettrey (Las Vegas Locos - UFL)

    1) OSU told him that they have other kickers that they think are better than him and if he takes his scholly now he may only kick one year, his senior year. If he takes it next year he can kick for two years. 2) OSU told him that they are getting a recruit that they just cannot pass on and...

I called TBS and they rated this as being pretty GD funny! :)

'06 MN DT Walker Ashley (Minny...no, maybe USC......no, PSU...no, Minnesota commit)

I agree, that update seems to point to PSU more than anything.

'06 MN DT Walker Ashley (Minny...no, maybe USC......no, PSU...no, Minnesota commit)

From Rivals: Things change: The continuing saga of the recruitment of Walker Ashley has taken another turn after Minnesota's top high school player has had a change at the top of his list of favorite schools. Ashley had been favoring Ohio State until he "shut down" his recruitment for the...

    DT Doug Worthington (Official Thread)

From Rivals: Another top prospect that is looking to take other visits while the NCAA examines the program is defensive end Doug Worthington. He will visit Florida and Boston College after his weekend visit to Alabama, but still considers himself a strong commitment. "I'm really just waiting...

QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Exactly and a quarterback should be a leader on and off the field. This does not allow for coach bashing to the media and taking money from boosters as Smith has done. Jeff George is an example of a fine quarterback who is a horrible leader. He bounced from team to team because everytime he...

'05 CA OL Kevin Bemoll (California signee)

I am hoping that JT and others will be able to talk him off of the ledge. I would like to see three "O" lineman in this class and if he goes else where I think we would end up filling another need or take a lesser or "project" lineman to replace him.

QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

What does this mean? Most people are trying to guess what happened and others are playing 20 questions with no hints of what is going on at all and we are supposed to draw some sort of conclusion on the integrity of the football staff or the team or even Gieger? Backstabbing attacks with no...

LB Freddie Lenix (Cincinnati signee; transfer to Notre Dame College)

That is an outrageous statement and I demand that you take it back! Everyone knows that Tressel does not recruit well out of state! :) Now watch me have to eat my words as 3 or 4 OOS recruits sign elsewhere in February!

Cowherd's pre-bowls/pre-polls/pre-season picks for next year.

Your right, it was definitely done tongue in cheek. But you can bet I was listening closely and hoping the Bucks came in at 1 or 2!

    2004 Steelers & 2002 Buckeyes

I think you hit the nail on the head here. The biggest difference this year is the Steeler Defense and that is because they have LeBeau back as the DC. Games that they would have lost last year 21-17 they are winning 17-10.

Thad Matta (OSU's All Time Winningest Coach & 3x B1G COY, Butler HC)

First things first, the recruiting has to get better and I think that this will happen. Matta is attracting the attention of big name recruits in a way that O'Brien never did. Second, he preaches defense and taking good shots. Everyone knows that is what wins basketball games, getting it done...

    2004 Steelers & 2002 Buckeyes

Like was stated earlier in this thread, this Steeler team has something going on that is a little like what the Bucks had in 2002. They play great "D" and have very good special teams and this will keep them in most games. They have a safe and opportunistic offense that does not often hurt...

Thad Matta (OSU's All Time Winningest Coach & 3x B1G COY, Butler HC)

I think that this sanction will bring the team together more than tear it apart. I would like to see them put together a nice run during the season and then do some damage in the B10 tournament.
