Ch. 12 here in Cincy is running a poll on their website asking who would win. Go vote! It's about 1/2 way down the page on the right.

I don't disagree with you at all. However, the majority of the blame has to be laid squarely at the feet of the coaching staff for it's lack of PROPER preparation. Even this can be laid at their feet for lack of mental prep.
My basis, though admittedly flawed, is recruiting rankings and listening to and watching people who know the game (ie, NOT Mark May or his ilk) critique our personnel. Yes, SC is the best college football team money can buy, just as Reggie Bush(oops, did I say that, hahaha). However, I truly...
OK, I'll add my 2 cents. I don't think what happened last night or in either 2 NC games has anything to do with lack of talent. It comes down to coaching. Coach T needs to shake up his staff! Our defensive coordinator has been thoroughly out coached in the last 3 "Big Games" and our...
As I said earlier, I thought we still had a good shot at it. Seems Coach Bruce and I were of the same mind set and were right in our thinking. I just hope that the media continues to bad mouth us and disrespect us. It will only fuel the guys drive to shut them up and prove them wrong...
It's a long shot, yes, but I don't think it's an impossibility. The way this year has gone, I especially wouldn't count it out. First off though, let's get our business taken care of and beat M******n!!!
How are YOU going to insure we win The Game? / What have you done today to beat scUM.
Myself, I'm going to buy a replacement pole for my Ohio State flag exactly like the one that got broken last week. I also promise that, unless I'm dead, I will make it to my alumni game next year.
After being in school for the first half of the Cooper era and sitting through so many bitter disappointments, I will NOT criticize coach T! What he has done is phenomenal!!! With the class he's putting together for next year, I see more great times to come.
I have no problem with tailgating. What I do like about going to an Ohio State sporting event (Football, Basketball, et. al) is the fact that alcohol is not sold at the game. Yes, some do sneak it in, but not in large enough quantities to make a difference. By the time half-time arrives the...
Those aren't "new" at all. They are the same exact design that were worn for years prior to the one worn through last season. I have a replica hanging in my closet that I bought at Long's while in school during the late 80's that is the exact design of the "new" jerseys, except for the...
I hate the Steelers almost as much as M******n. I can't wait to watch the Colts and Manning put an absolute beat down on the sqweelers. I'm hoping for around 600 yards total offense and 50 - 60 points out of the Colts.
It would seem that I was correct. Coach Weis commented in his presser that the TO call should have been a penalty and that this was the only real problem that he had with the officiating.

Ok, here you go...
Illegal Delay of the Game
ARTICLE 2. a. The ball shall be declared ready for play consistently
throughout the game by the referee when the officials are in position.
Consuming more than 25 seconds to put the ball in play after it is
declared ready for play is an illegal...
I talked to a buddy who was a football official and he agreed with me.* It should have been a penalty.*

BTW, don't forget the penalty for being outside the 25's that should have been assessed and wasn't!
I Tivo'd it to make sure, but on the play where Lienert fumbled the ball, if you watch, there was an SC coach down on the sidelines inside the 5. He was clearly outside of the 25, which is as far as they are allowed to go. That's a penalty! Oh, but wait there's more! If you watch that same coach...
