I think the OSU O line may be better than the LSU O Line (we 've had some problems with false starts and penalties).
FYI: There is no weather in the Superdome.
(and since the thread already got hijacked to discuss conference "parity")
I don't agree with your reasoning, if you count teams...
RB: The very fact that you needed to call upon FIVE (5) RBs to counter Ohio State's Chris Wells says all you need to know about this one. LSU has some good backs that can do good things, but none of them are as complete as Wells. I like the Buckeyes here.
My two cents.... LSU is known for a...
That's entirely possible.... but an Ivy League education or something the equivalent thereof does not win football games.
I'm sure that each of our respective universities have things going for themselves, but seriously, isn't this stretching just a little bit?
In other news,
I'd like to...
FYI.... It's pretty damn hard to make us one dimensional and even if you do, we probably will still provide a very impressive challenge. The sad part is that Hester probably is not the best back on the team in terms, some of the runs that Hester breaks, he ends up getting hit by a corner or...
I would also recommend Mother's on Poydras and tchoupitoulas, easily one of the best places for good southern cooking I've ever had.
Mother's Restaurant
To add on to that.... if you go deep, one of our safeties who happens to have an uncanny knack of being right in front of the receiver may just happen to get a pick.
Your best bet may be to throw the short quick passes underneath the zone that the corners usually run.
What's the OSU...
I wouldn't say the rush defense is 'Buttersoft', yes good backs have run against us but no more than any other school. Dareen McFadden is an absolute beast, especially when healthy, and I'm sure you guys know all about option running attacks.
But I'd like to point out is on any given game, we...
Well, the short list starts with the receiving corps (Doucet who has been gimpy this season), a couple of running backs (Keiland Williams, Trindon Holliday).
Both Quarterbacks can run the option offense, if we (LSU) choose to run it. Flynn is more of a passer who can run while Perrilloux is the runner who can pass. From a game perspective, both QB's have made their fair share of mistakes and I'd say both are equal (depending on how healthy Flynn gets...
OSU Backup QB?
Ohio St wouldn't happen to have a backup quarterback who can run like a RB or a Running back who can throw like a quarter back would they?
