GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!
(seriously not sure what we're going to learn from watching this one, but I suppose "we shall see")
I wouldn't be surprised if the corruption at ttun trickles down from its very corrupt state government.
So, they cheated to win a natty, had to pay a fine to keep it, and not vacate it?
Yeah, it's some higher level corruption than solely the ncaa.
That's what I saw as well. I get why Arthur kept running up the middle: it worked. But they're probably going to figure that out eventually, so you have to get into a rythm that mixes it up more, and have a contingency plan to adjust.
Looking at Arthur Smiths placement among OC's in the NFL...
Oh please. Guess what? My opinion differs from yours.
O-line played surprisingly well in the game early, literally dominated. Didn't adjust the rest of the game when texas figured they needed to sack Sayin after they couldn't stop much else. Play calling needed to adjust to this, and didn't.
There were several factors that cost the game. Sayin missed some throws that he usually makes, a few key drops. Sayin wasn't as sharp as he had been in the past. That had a little bit of impact on the game, so the little things added up in the end.
But who was calling plays? Looks to me Arthur...
Not sure how this team responds. My guess is they get fired up and put on an offensive clinic, then roll into the playoffs and pull a Dayism & Smithism.
All that talent and it wasn't utilized properly in the 2nd half, hell, most of the game, should've got at least one TD out of those FG's. Saw the loss coming a mile away.
