I think they really did about the best they could do with this deadline, and they managed to do it without giving up any real serious prospect capital which is a big plus as well. They did enough to at least give themselves a chance.

Getting Adell for essentially nothing (Cozart really has no path in this organization, and his highest ceiling is a backup catcher in the MLB) is a good move.
