Ryder to Okie State…in other breaking news, the sun rises in the east and you can’t spell Michigan without smoking chodes.
Saw AJ Ferrari to UNC too. Weird. Maybe the coed scene was too good to pass up.
I just read on the Penn State forums that Zack Ryder has hit the portal. They mad…bigly. They bigly big mad. He was projected to be their replacement for Starocci. After Welsh committed to Penn State, Starocci sent out a tweet, “Zack Ryder all day baby” then deleted it. But…at the end...
I agree with both of you. I think the ceiling of this team is mid tier, 6-4 range. I also think scoring 51.5 points is underperforming. Per Wikipedia, here are the point results of 5th place finishers, where OSU landed, and the champion going back to 2015.
2015 5th: 71.5, OSU 1st: 102
2016...
These guys are all sickos. From Ono on down. Institutional fuckery. Matt “Send pics of bobs and vagine” Weiss is a Grade A piece of shit. An embarrassment to human beings.
A few scenarios come to mind with Brown transferring.
1: Davino and Bouzakis go 133 and 141, while Mendez bumps up to 149 or…
2. We hit the portal…McNeil (Coleman Scott ties) at 149 among others to fill the gaps or…
3. Swim, Swenson, Swanson, Samsonite I was way off.
Very interesting on the Okie State front. That made way more sense in my opinion. He’d replace Plott with no real competition.
I finished reading Penn State’s thread and they think they’re set with a combination of Haines, Ryder, Barr, and Mirasola. So they don’t quite understand it. Not...
Brutal…not sure what to say except this was always a possibility. Three guys for sure are leaving based on Flo’s transfer tracker. Hepner, Gonzales, and Welsh. Not sure where Geog lands as he seems like an odd man out if Shumate stays at 197 and Rogotzke stays at 184.
Makes you wonder about...
Few things piss me off more than cheating. From an ethical, morality, and meritocratic standpoint, it goes with everything in life. School work, employment, sports, marriage, etc. Cheating goes hand in hand with laziness and cowardice. Not disciplined enough to study? Cheat. Want to get ahead in...
It was great to see! I’m glad Hendrickson beat him. It is good for the sport to have parity and balance. While I don’t blame Steveson for lacing his shoes back up because we all have that itch if we leave something we love, but his ego and arrogance was something left to be desired.
He could...
I hope you’re right on where we stand among the ranks. I’m not seeing it to be honest.
Next year’s lineup:
125: Kilkeary or McCrone
133: Bouzakis or Davino
141: Mendez or Davino
149: Mendez or ???
157: Cannon or ???
165: Birden or ???
174: Welsh or ???
184: Rogotzke or Welsh
197: Geog or...
Masanosuke Ono just committed to Penn State. He beat Marcus Blaze on his way to the U20 world title last fall and then followed that up by teching his way to the senior world title a few weeks later. He beat two world champs along the way in dominating fashion. He then beat Spencer Lee last...
Mendez was a man with that ride out. Prior to that he escaped in the riding time 30 second tiebreaker with 3 seconds left. He then went into I’m stronger than you mode and rode out Bartlett for the win. Heart thumping win for sure.
The good: Bouzakis, Mendez, D’Emilio, and Shumate.
The bad: Ryder, Gallagher and Kharchla. Just a tough go. Gallagher’s match was not good. I feel for him, but I didn’t see much urgency or fire. I thought Kharchla had Pinto toward the end of the 3rd. I was watching the matcast from my phone on...
I appreciated the updates from earlier. I was only able to catch Shumate stick Salazar and Feldman’s match. Bummer about our 4 loses. Hate to see any of our guys lose, especially Kharchla and Paddy. These dudes have worked hard and battled injuries. Maybe there’s some HEW creeping in. I hope...
Best of luck to the team today. A lot has been sacrificed over the course of the season. The dedication these kids have is next level. Making weight, switching weight, nutrition, putting their teammates ahead of themselves, staying humble. It’s a good program and it starts at the top. Go Bucks!
