This is not sour grapes at all but reflective of the current class of 2 RBs and the plug and play nature of the position. So to me, if I picked one highly rated guy to miss on, this is it. It hurts the least by far.

Feels like Von Bells recruitment a little bit in terms of a game changing southern guy who we just seem to be legitimately in the race but you can’t get your hopes up. I personally think he will be a Buckeye in the end.

Such a low key recruitment IMO Someone with Bona fides….whats the deal with this one? Pretty highly ranked kid and awfully close to home for such little attention on here.

For all the comparisons to McCord I am surprised the O Line performance isn’t mentioned. It’s almost a given it will be better this year considering how bad it was at times for McCord. If Howard has better pocket presence and gets just a half second more time than McCord that’s a huge difference

Question : Since everyone says that OL is the hardest position group to project how a player will develop, why not look for more of these players as walk on guys? And if they are worth it then use NIL to help pay for their “scholarship” etc?

Bump. He's the most important player not already set as a starter IMO. For the record, I don’t consider there is any difference between RB1 and RB2 so with that in mind I think the most important guy who can emerge in fall camp is this big fella. Then let Josh and Luke battle for the open...
