HC Ryan Day (B1G Coach of Year, B1G Champion, National Champion)

You can do this with an older more experienced team. A team like how it was in the past, this method wouldn’t work. Too many young players. But when your team averages 23yo, they don’t need extensive practices. Most are self motivated at this point and don’t need a coach in their face to get...

    RB Legend Bey (Official Thread)

I think you’re missing the point of “poor man’s”. He’s saying he just reminds him of Hill. A young, less refined version of Hill. Just like Sayin is comped as a “poor man’s” Drew Brees. He plays similar in style but isn’t at the same level as Brees, but might be one day.

Should semipro/college players be paid, or allowed to sell their stuff? (NIL and Revenue Sharing)

Per BH poster: This is why giving such big money to highly ranked HS lineman is so precarious. The positions that are the hardest to predict and getting some of the most money yet most are complete unknowns for several years. Hence the preference on transfers now

2027 OH LB Brayton Feister (Verbal Offer)

I think his ceiling is higher at defense than offense. He could be a college RB and be successful, but I don't think he could be a RB at OSU. Similar to Steeler Chambers, an above average-good RB but possibly good-great LB or DE.

2027 TX DL Jalen Brewster (Texas Tech Verbal)

This could only help the Buckeyes. Though I'm sure there may be some type of buy out

https://www.on3.com/rivals/news/intel-one-team-has-edge-as-decision-nears-for-elite-2027-te-brock-williams/ 3 way race between OSU, UGA and Tejas. It'd be nice to land Williams, but like I've said, I'm fine with passing on him

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

If you look around CFB, every team went through the same thing. And the current state of CFB doesn't lean towards developing as much as bringing in older players who need less development. OSU lost mainly players who never played, so they just lost unknowns. And that can be taken as a positive...

Should semipro/college players be paid, or allowed to sell their stuff? (NIL and Revenue Sharing)

Ted knows damn well no one Congressman on either side of the aisle wants to see a cap, because a number of them donate to their alma maters NIL. And they love puffing their chests out like any other donor when they land a talented player

Should semipro/college players be paid, or allowed to sell their stuff? (NIL and Revenue Sharing)

Agreed, I don't see how any player would sign an agreement limiting the amount they can earn. Fans and coaches will complain about(and not saying their wrong), but the NCAA majorly screwed up, and they took the massive gamble of thinking Congress would save them. They have no Plan B. And for...

Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

I think like most things in life, it depends on the family dynamic and socioeconomic standing of the kid. And unfortunately many of these poor urban and rural kids, sports is the way out for many of them. Without it, many would be back at the local factory, construction site, some type of dead...
