I mean OSU probably did, if we are being honest. Somebody probably said fuck Portnoy.
Of course OSU is going to deny it. Portnoy deserves it.
Just my guess on how this played out.
Love OSU banning Dave Portnoy from their stadium.
With that said, there must be something real behind the ban and not petty rivalry stuff. Desmond Howard is a troll and they have not
banned him.
Is this OSU's unstated feelings about signal gate being stated, another concern about the...
OSU does do a pretty good job with strategic calls in the transfer portal. So recruiting losses aren't necessarily a closed book, as much as a closed chapter.
U of Miami does this every year and it never pans out, even when they stay on board, because the kids never really buy into being there other than due to it being a transactional relationship, because if it starts that way, it will stay that way.
The issue is how does OSU stay relevant in an increasingly more expensive cfb hemisphere? I don't envy Day, Pantoni and Bjork because there are no easy answers here. Paying this kind of money is stupid too.
I think OSU is probably thinking that they can get a quality 4 star prospect, a...
If he is even there long enough to be developed.
TTUN is going to experience issues they have not had to deal with in getting high priced recruits. The whining, protecting themselves for the pros, agents and all that drama.
It is coming.
They are going to be the U part 2 if they don't...
In all seriousness. I have a feeling this really was a highest bidder situation. Apparently OSU wasn't even in the ballpark.
I really don't want OSU to get kids like that.
At this point, a one step down program like Cincy or Marshall are his best option. Competition is less. Won't have to compete against some high priced recruit who is the "future of the program."
