Totally agree. If they need to prop themselves up with meaningless stats and refuse to acknowledge that they've played a shit schedule, that's fine with me. We'll see who has the higher numbers in the categories that count at the end of the season.....
completion % is good at 78.6%. That's good..... Against some quality competition that would be really good. yds/attempt however, tells a slightly different story. McCarthy has 848 on 84 attempts, which comes out to 10.095 yds/att. Another notable player: Stroud: 10.269.....against MUCH...

Saban had his own failed coaching gig and has got to understand that failing at a specific job doesn't necessarily make you a toxic coach. In fact, it probably humbles a guy enough to want to work that much harder to resurrect his career.
