    I don't think it was as bad as you make it seem. He knew he was going to get in, still held on to the ball, and his distal arm extension only happened after breaking the plane of the end zone.

    That's good to hear. Hope his year of eligibility is preserved, though it probably doesn't matter. Regardless, I believe it is highly unlikely that he will be put in when he has missed the entire regular season.
