I put it this way. Ohio State is always accused of being the football factory, so we bend over backwards not to be one, and there's plenty of evidence: firing Woody, giving Cooper that ridiculously long leash, turning Tressel in when it would have been the easiest thing in the world to bury...
Makes sense. Only way he could have any credibility were to claim a come to Jesus moment and throw Harbaugh, Sharonna, Ono and ttun under the bus. Trying to cover for them shouldn't fly.
This is our concern, Dude. Either because he's a psycho or because Barstool gave him a bag, he goes in and lies his ass off (he won't be under oath) that it was all him and none of the coaches knew a single thing.
What time are they starting and will there be any public statements afterwards. Or, are we just reliant on leaks.
No leaks is a good thing since tsun would absolutely leak good news, particularly with their NIL operation in a death spiral. The fact that Ono fought (probably illegally) all FOIA...
This is the jock-sniffer Regent who publicly rallied behind Harbaugh. He was fine with Ono and his complete lack of leadership and principles back then.
Yeah. Clemson is much better than its reputation...at least for undergrad. The gap between it and Ohio State gets a lot larger though when you start comparing professional schools, doctoral programs, faculty and research.
I'm not posting this here to have any debate on the content of the questions he was asked. Only to highlight what a scheming, careerist weasel his answers show him to be.
Good God do I love watching Ono humiliated on an international level. I first found out about it in the damned British newspaper, The Guardian. Rarely do you get to see bad things happen to a genuinely bad person, but this is one of those times. It's just fucking hilarious. I can't see any...
I think that's exactly it. The B1G sets up some rules that, for the most part, their schools will try to follow. The SEC! goes back to being Cheating Inc. and gains an advantage.
How many are left? Sharonna has nowhere to go, and Warde is golden because he knows where the bodies are buried (hilarious that he's last man standing among him, Simple Jim and the jock-sniffer). All the other rats have fled.
Even the usual SEC-slobbers on Sirius (Childers and Neuheisel) were talking about how NIL may have shifted the balance of power to the far wealthier schools and alumni bases in the B1G and that's why Sanke and Saban are trying so hard to get some regulations and limits in place.
With Ono in charge, it would have been 100% We'll see now. Remember that their board has to actually consider what the t-shirts want and at least one of them was a grandstanding supporter of Ono and Harbaugh. So, the chance won't be zero.
Ono is obviously a corrupt and terrible university President, but what I think allowed him to play this all out for so long is that tsun has a dysfunctional, rotten culture that simply can't conceive of themselves as ever being wrong...ever being the bad guy...ever not being superior to everyone...
I would have loved to hear some of the conversations at tsun's faculty club when Ono's sad jock-sniffing personality came into full public view. I have no doubt that Bacon is--for a change--being honest when he says that he's hearing a lot of "good riddance" from various power centers at the...
This is very true. We, however, need a different colored asterisk that denotes "university, President and Athletic Director did everything correct when they learned about it."
I'll always go back to my analogy that Ono is a poor man's Gee. Gee loved to associate himself with the football team...
