    QB Stephen Collier (Official Thread)

I'm hoping he becomes as good a QB as the last QB OSU recruited that completed fewer than 50% of his passes as a high school senior (Troy Smith).

    OL Demetrius Knox (Official Thread)

He did ok. He didn't look like a fish out of water out there, at least. He is considerably overweight, but seemed to have good feet and was aggressive despite this. He's a project, but the tools are there.

First Tyler Ferguson transfers and Ped State is down to one scholarship quarterback. Then Hackenberg raises the specter of leaving, which would leave them with zero scholarship QBs. Now, their only QB commitment for the '14 class has decommitted. I'm not sure how it can possibly get much...

    In-state Players to Watch

Their best prospect is a linebacker, Matthew Draper. They also have a couple WR/DB types that will get some attention. Definitely one of their weakest classes unless they get some transfers during the offseason.

There's a joke about a M******n cheerleader in there somewhere that I can't quite make work....

Coming in for spring ball won't exactly hurt his chances of getting PT as a freshman either.

    tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Although package deals rarely come off, my recollection was that Wilson made it clear that he was going to play with Ermon Lane. Lane and Wilson committed to UF at the same time, and if Meyer could flip them both, that would fill two big needs for OSU

JUCO DB Tee Shepard (Mississippi State Signee)

I seem to recall that he felt mislead when he got to ND because he was under the impression that they would provide him with some sort of help so he could attend classes where he couldn't hear the lecturer. Apparently that didn't happen.

Less than a year, actually. He beat out the returning starter a few games into the season.

DE Sam Hubbard (All B1G, National Champion)

Jevon Kearse made the transition from high school S to college (and pro) DE just fine. That's not to say Hubbard could do it, but it's possible.

I saw a list once, but have no idea where it was. I think that Lemming, G&W, and Prepstar are three of the others.

    Kyle Allen (QB Washington Redskins)

Brantley's problem was more that he wasn't a good quarterback rather than not being a good fit for the UF scheme. I mean, as a senior under Muschamp's pro-style offense, he didn't exactly set the world on fire. Allen, if he chooses OSU, might end up being more like Chris Leak, who did great in...
