  1. Official Super Bowl thread....

Whatever punk. I have been fan since I was 6 years old.
  2. Official Super Bowl thread....

Bengal fans did sell their playoff tickets against the Steelers, so I think you would know what I am talking about.
  3. Official Super Bowl thread....

Yes the Steelers have bandwagon fans like everybody else. I don't like them either but that won't take away from me for enjoying this win. The Pittsburgh did lead the league this season in ratings when it comes to watching the home team. I believe they had the highest ratings since Green Bay in...
  4. Official Super Bowl thread....

If you ever watch Steeler games, the commentators always make comments about how well the Steeler fans travel. Yes they are right that the Steeler fans travel but many of those Steeler fans in away games are from the area. Madden and Michaels mentioned at the beginning of the game about the...
  5. Official Super Bowl thread....

The Steelers are damn lucky to be up 7-3 at the half. Offense is out of sync and ultra conservative. Cowher said we are sticking to the run. Looks like Cowher wrote this gameplan instead of Whiz. I am going to puke if this offense plays like this in the 2nd half and the Steelers lose. Seahawks...
  6. PG Mike Conley (1st Team All BIG, NBA All-Star, Oscar Winner, Minnesota Timberwolves)

Kind of ridiculous to see Conley get bashed on Bucknuts by kern10, ILbuck, etc. I mean what do I except from a moron like kern10 who bashes Geiger, Tressel, Krenzel, and Troy Smith?
  7. Dru Humphrey RIP

Jayson Gwinn would have been a star at Ohio State. I can remember him starting for an injured Randall Brown against Indiana as a redshirt freshman in 1993 and dominating. Ohio State would have the trio of Vrabel, Finkes, and Gwinn at DE for 3 more years. RIP Humphries and Gwinn.
  8. Poll: Which 3 or 2 star will see the field this year?

Schwartz, a QB/DB, may have the impact in special teams like another former QB/DB in Steve Bellisari in 1998. Bellisari was a nut on special teams and Schwartz is faster and may be that guy also. Difference is that Schwartz is going to be a career DB at Ohio State.
  9. Pittsburgh Steelers = Rip-off artists

I think I read that article from that idiot, he is a Patriots fan. The teams (Colts, Patriots, Panthers) and players (Brady, Manning, Bruschi) they wanted in the Super Bowl aren't there.
  10. Pittsburgh Steelers = Rip-off artists

It is not like the Steelers stole the logo from the Browns or Bengals.
  11. Laurinaitis vs. Grant (Starting LB Discussion)

Great post. Basically sum up all my thoughts. I never said it was written in stone that Grant was going to start at SLB. Grant's tackling may be suspect, he still has 8 months to work with this staff. It is not like Laurenitais was making many tackles when he was in there. Saying no way he beats...
  12. Laurinaitis vs. Grant (Starting LB Discussion)

We already went back and forth on this. It is a better chance then what you think. I noticed a few people on another messageboard today and this messageboard last week had the same thought about Grant at SLB. A 5 star JUCO coming in at probably the SLB position, I wouldn't say it is no way he...
  13. Laurinaitis vs. Grant (Starting LB Discussion)

If Grant catches on to the defense quickly then I wouldn't be surprised if he started at SLB.
  14. D-Line -All 21st Century Team

That should be interesting. A lot of talent in those 10 years.
  15. QB --All 21st Century Team

Krenzel was a leader and there is no doubt he is a top 5 QB (Kern, Schlitcher, Germaine, Krenzel, Smith) in Ohio State history. I just think Troy Smith is better. Doss, Nickey, and Cie Grant comes to my mind as leaders. Wilhelm was definitely a leader. He called out Rambo before the 2001 Outback...
  16. QB --All 21st Century Team

You said anybody that didn't vote for Krenzel needs to be stabbed in the throat with a butter knife. That's a little harsh for people that have a different opinion than you. My point is that everybody likes to point out Krenzel's NC and he was 14-0. Why not just put everybody on the 2002 team...
  17. QB --All 21st Century Team

Krenzel made some clutch plays no doubt but football is the ultimate team sport. Why don't we just take the entire 2002 football team and put them on the All-2000 team. The other 21 players also went 14-0.
  18. QB --All 21st Century Team

Good point. I think the offense early in 2005 was much like the 2002 offense. The Texas, SDSU, Iowa, and Penn State games were called very similar to 2002 season except that there was more shotgun with QB draws. I think Smith would have been very similar to Krenzel in a ball control offense...
  19. LBs -All 21st Century Team

Wilhelm was faster and better in coverage and was great at filling the hole. Schlegel was late to the ball a few times this season because he is not the fastest linebackers that's for sure.
  20. DB -All 21st Century Team

Gamble and Clements for CB. I think Clements was an all-american so he gets the edge over Fox. Doss and Whitner for safety. I guess Whitner would the FS on this all-2000 team.
