I see the Browns going after Kyle McCord, in either the 3rd or 4th round. McCord is kind of like the young Joe Flacco, so clearly they will want to have them together.
It could be a good thing for OSU, IF Kennard Davis chooses the Buckeyes, because Henderson just took the SF spot away from him at Miami. So I would guess that's one less school to compete with for Davis.
Davis scheduled an impromptu visit to LSU after fishing for more schools to recruit him, even though he had been in the portal almost a month. Clearly he is trying to maximize his NIL. I would expect now LSU will be where he goes.
I hate to say it, but the longer things are going on, it looks like OSU will have to come up with a Plan B (or C?) option for the SF starter. Plan B would probably involve exploring the European ranks (ugh). It's not a good position to be in at this point, but I'm worried OSU may have...
I just noticed AJ Storr's transfer means he will have played 4 years in 4 different programs, in 4 different conferences. St John's, Wisconsin, Kansas and now Ole Miss.
Actually some are saying Miami is the team OSU has to beat out for Kennard Davis. Ole Miss just got a commitment today from AJ Storr (remember him?), who is fresh off of a season of top dollar NIL pay for underwhelming at Kansas. I'm skeptical that Ole Miss has the juice to have AJ Storr and...
Welp. Kennard Davis is visiting Ole Miss, so now I would guess OSU is not going to get him after all, as OSU hoops NEVER wins recruiting battles with the SEC over transfers. I wonder at what point do we stop accepting constantly losing recruiting battles to SEC programs that aren't blue bloods...
Tilly scored 3.8 ppg last season off screen & roll plays. I noticed Washington, the UNC big man transfer they were heavily recruiting before Tilly committed, was also very adept at screen & roll action. Obviously this skill is a key aspect of OSU's offensive strategy.
Well fast forward 1 year and ... Scotty Middleton is back in the transfer portal. He averaged 5 points and 2 rebounds in 21 minutes per game for a 7-25(!) Seton Hall team. Safe to say now he's not looking like much of a loss for OSU. I get that we need decent bench players, but I think maybe...
