New York Knicks (2x NBA Champions)

As long as he plays like that in the playoffs, I could care less how he plays in the regular season.

    Deron Williams (NJ Nets)

http://hoopshype.com/salaries/new_jersey.htm The Nets have plenty of money available in the upcoming years. This trade makes the Nets at least considerable to free agents. I've already given my thoughts on Favors. As for the draft picks, NJ has 5 in the next two years. The ones they...

    Deron Williams (NJ Nets)

This was a big gamble for the Nets, and it could pay huge dividends. The Nets now become a viable spot for a free agent acquisition in the next year or so. If they can bring in another max player and lock up Deron with an extension, they've put themselves in a contending position that was...

    When you are everyone's rival...

No arguments from me on that. I'm just not ready to put us in the same breath as Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, or UNC. Let's win a couple titles before we do that. Not just one title, but a couple titles.

    Ryan Mallett (R.I.P.)

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/22/on-ryan-mallet-former-nfl-exec-cites-rumors-of-drug-use-and-possible-addiction/ Ryan Mallett was not addicted to drugs. Drugs were addicted to Ryan Mallett.

New York Knicks (2x NBA Champions)

Melo wasn't willing to forego the $15 mil or so that he would've had to give up had he waited til free agency. As a Knicks fan, I'm sad to see those players go, but the Knicks will be better for this deal.

    When you are everyone's rival...

Maybe I misinterpreted what you were saying, but to me it read as if we're finally getting the credit that we've been due for some time now.

    When you are everyone's rival...

A long time coming? A few good but not great years does not a dynasty make. I remember as recently as 2005 we were thrilled just to win the Big 10. Kansas, UNC, Duke have all been dominant forces on the national spectrum for 20+ years.

    Buckeye Nemesis/Archenemies

"You kind of like your nemesis, despite the fact that you despise him." I despise Michigan, but I respect them. Can't say the same for Penn State. "We measure ourselves against our nemeses" I think most Buckeye fans would agree that any season with a win against Michigan is a successful one...

    Buckeye Nemesis/Archenemies

For me, as a younger Buckeye fan (my first year at OSU was 2002 and growing up in NJ I was never really a diehard Bucks fan before that), I would say on a small scale, our nemesis would be Michigan and our archenemy would be Penn State. I hate Michigan and hope we beat them every year, but I...

    Ryan Mallett (R.I.P.)

Ryan Mallett doesn't have off-field issues. The field has off-Ryan-Mallett issues. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/08/talk-continues-of-potential-draft-day-plunge-for-ryan-mallett/
