Born in Feb 1992, so that makes my lifetime record 15-8-1. I must be good luck or something.
And I've been lucky enough to attend the 2000, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016 games. 8-1, which is pretty pretty pretty good.
Oh I totally get the home-team advantage and family ties working in UT's favor. That was just my takeaway. I've been to a decent amount of campuses and college stadiums, but was just very underwhelmed in general. I did like Market Square, though. Seems like a fun college town too.
I went down to Rocky Top for the first time this year to watch the Ohio U game. I can't tell you how underwhelmed I was with the experience. The stadium is horrible. The band is horrible. Their team (obviously) is horrible. I literally can't fathom why someone would pick Tennessee over Ohio...
I say that in context. I think Harris would double up Grimes, so I don't understand his appeal as much. On the other hand, I think Bowden would add a different dimension not seen in any of the current commits. I should have been clearer and said that Harris is every bit as talented. I just think...
That's a great point. I guess the question is whether the staff is comfortable with one of the S commits (Pryor or White) playing walk-out. It never hurts to have versatile guys to fill multiple roles.
Amazing how quickly the train moves on. Goodbye Bolden, and a potential hello to Kendall...
This recent Werner move seems way more to do with Simmons than it does with Browning. It may be somewhat speculative on my part, but I don't see both Werner and Simmons in this small class.
Let me give it an old college try:
QB: Tate Martell
RB: JK Dobbins
WR: Trevon Grimes & Tyjon Lindsey
OL: Josh Myers & Wyatt Davis
DT: Haskell Garrett, Jerron Cage, & Jay Tufele
DE: Chase Young
LB: Brendon White, Pete Werner, & Baron Browning
CB: Shaun Wade, Marcus Williamson, & Jeffrey Okudah...
What you're seeing is a program in decline. Hope I'm wrong, but like... I'm also a Georgetown fan so I really know what a program in decline looks like.
There were absolutely some academic concerns there. If what I heard is true (and it was from a pretty good source), Hayes tried to transfer to St. John's Jesuit from Whitmer twice, but could not get in. I believe academics are what ultimately led him away from Ohio State as well. It seems like...
For those that know more than I do (which is most everyone her), what in the world happened to the pre-snap motions we ran under Herman and into 2015? It seemed like that always gave us a numbers advantage. I haven't seen anything like that all year. Frustrating and unforgivable.
