FWIW, I think because of the semester switch, they're on a different schedule now. I think I saw rank 4+ student buy them first, and that's at the beginning of June.

Since when have BuckIDs been scanned? They added a magnetic strip for the COTA buses this past year, but I think that's it. The logistics of scanning IDs would be too much of a pain in the ass.

In addition to BP, I only really check 11W. It has the right blend of sports + nerdiness that fits me. Also, they generate a lot of content.

What makes you think one side is different than the others? They're the same (except for the student section being in one end but not the other). The seats are identical.

This depth is unreal. I'd much rather have all of the backs eligible and healthy, but...

I should probably add that I'm a recent OSU student, so age, energy level and healthy knees probably have something to do with me caring more about decibel level than comfort. :wink2:

How is it irrelevant? It is the most important part of the arena during a game. I'd rather have a loud arena with more seats closer to the court than an arena with fancy lobbies and big concessions areas.

...and this is a basketball forum, so that's the context of the discussion. Clearly, the Schott is far more valuable to the university than St. John -- but that doesn't mean it makes an awesome place to watch a basketball game. In basketball (and unlike football), size doesn't really matter...

Football coaches have huge impacts on players lives. Although the coaches make lots of money (while the players do not), they do at least care about their players. Most of the university officials care more about the players winning games to promote the school and fund non-revenue generating...

I've seen lots of people complaining about what Troy Smith said. I'm surprised that people don't understand where Troy is coming from. These players are loyal to their coaches, not the institutions -- and why shouldn't they be?

It just bums me out, because it means it will take another season or two before I can reliably pass the ball against a good defense. Online, I don't have as big of a problem with it because the online games are set on All American... but I have a hard time putting together turn over free...
