  1. G/F Evan "The Villain" Turner (2010 Naismith Winner)

Unlike with the NFL, there's no reason not to test the waters in the NBA. The amount of feedback you get from coaches and scouts on what to improve in your game(and Evan still has a lot to improve on even though he's already such a fantastic player) is unsurpassed IMO.
  2. C Byron 'B.J.' Mullens (Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo - Japan)

Lauderdale was our better Center overall throughout the game. Still, would have been nice to see how he'd develop with a whole offseason of training. I guess we'll never know. I really do think this is a mistake though. He probably won't be one of the first four Centers taken in this draft...
  3. OSU Wrestling (2008 and 2009 NCAA Runners-up)

PIN!!! OH-IO going on in the background too!
  4. OSU Wrestling (2008 and 2009 NCAA Runners-up)

That was some great riding by Reece in the second period. Congrats on reaching the finals. Hopefully some of his teammates join him soon.
  5. DB Donald Washington III (Official Thread)

HS speeds were hyped. They almost always are.
  6. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

I think the Cavs just get suckered into playing the fast paced game when they play teams like the Suns, Kings, and Warriors(and to a lesser extent the Clippers). Good news for us is that teams in the playoffs don't play that style of basketball. It's easy for teams and players to forget to...
  7. G/F Evan "The Villain" Turner (2010 Naismith Winner)

Conley was a top five pick, it would take a tremendous tournament(both Big Ten and NCAA) run for Turner to even have a chance to crack the lottery. Right now he'd probably go between 20-30, and I'd lean more towards the lower end and that thirties. I think he needs to show what position he's...
  8. G/F Evan "The Villain" Turner (2010 Naismith Winner)

Finally having experienced upper classmen will improve this team more than any potential recruit ever could(Oden and Conley excluded).
  9. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

I think Atlanta would be easier to deal with in a seven game series where our depth would be able to show itself more, especially if/when we get Joe Smith and Ben Wallace back.
  10. FB/LB David Durham (transfer to Pittsburgh)

I think Turner is probably more of a true linebacker at the next level, and I imagine one of Durham/Moore will end up Leo and the other will be a DE. Who knows what kind of weight these kids add when they get to school.
  11. '12 OH DE Greg McMullen (Nebraska Verbal)

I don't recall hearing much about him during the football season, but I do know he's carrying Hoban's basketball team. I hear he's just a physical freak.
  12. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Doh! I thought we were only twenty million over the cap, not thirty. Regardless, I can understand the hesitancy in dealing Wally, especially considering how well he's been playing lately. There are really only a handful of players I'd want to trade him for, Camby being the ideal choice.
  13. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

One thing to remember is that right now we're incredibly thin at SG/SF with West, Pavlovic, and Kinsey all being out. That's probably something that could be holding up some deals. Worst case scenario, we keep Wally, he comes off the books this summer, and we have some cap room to play with.
  14. Players leaving

Chad Ford is legit. He's not some Todd McShay loser pretending he knows what he's talking about.
  15. Players leaving

Chad Ford on ESPN.com reported that in a few of his columns. He'd still be a lottery pick based on potential, but he's definitely slipping down draft boards and probably isn't a top five pick, let alone a potential number one pick like he was thought of being before the season started.
  16. Players leaving

I actually think Turner might be the only one to leave, but I wouldn't even put the odds on him leaving above 50 percent. I think for sure Buford returns and the Mullens likely returns(this will be especially true when he realizes how much scouts have soured on him since he hasn't shown a lot...
  17. '10 OH OL Eric Franklin (Youngstown State Verbal)

Any DL experience or potential? I'm not sure he fits the mold of O-linemen we're going after recently(tall, rangy Tackles and smaller, athletic guards), so maybe defense would be his best chance at an offer?
  18. 2010 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Maybe one positive out of the Boyd recruitment is a great presence in Virginia from now on...
  19. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Is Mo Williams a second Cavs All-Star? I know Lebron and Coach Brown are lobbying hard for him, and tonights game will be hard to ignore and will be fresh in a lot of people's minds. I'm just going to be pissed if there are 3/4 Celtics, two Magics, two Nets, and only one Cavs player.
  20. Ohio State vs Michigan State 1/6/08 ESPN

Last two games the end of the first half have been daggers for us.
