My biggest frustration in recruiting is the uneven playing field. What is an academic pre-requisite at some schools isn't mandated in others. Truly frustrating. Best of luck to him at scUM.

I agree...the film I saw of Nelson two years ago reminded me of Oscar Davenport (late 90s UNC QB). It is hard to compare what little film I have seen of Payne to date to anyone in particular but he doesn't resemble Nelson in terms of build or playing style.

I wonder what Fellows sees @ UofI that he doesn't @ OSU? Is it the relationship with Zooker? Is is the fact that UofI is an up and comer? Is it depth? Then again, maybe he just has that "feel" for UofI that he doesn't have for tOSU...

Agree...I will say it is a different style of football in the South though. The Big Ten was historically more a smashmouth conference and weather conditions have contributed greatly to that (which has been stated ad nauseum) until the evolution of N'Western and Purdue lead some Big Ten schools...
