I dunno, at this point my theory is that the first part of the game is just Tebow trolling the other team, and then he yanks victory away from them at the last second. Either that, or it takes most of the game for the Broncos to find and remove most of the kryptonite from the stadium. Hard to...
Nuts. This is all on stupid human voter tricks, IMHO.
There was a column on Yahoo which pointed out that if Mike Slive's plan had gone through a few years back, this wouldn't have happened. Time to bang the drums on plus-one again.
Well, I want OSU in as well.
Only the media and Alabama fans want a rematch. I'm surprised it's going to be this close - I figured if OSU took care of business in Bedlam, there would be a bigger shift towards them. Which is why I feared Oklahoma would pull out the win last night and doom us all...
The memory of 2006 would be why I've been hoping for a non-rematch. I guess at this point that means my hope is that OSU runs up the score on the Sooners and slips ahead. I won't be upset if the human voters pull shenanigans to get the Cowboys up ahead of the Tide, either.
Of course, if OK Lite...
Placing homer bets, naturally. Yay Rays. If I can get to a game, I will. I was going to go on Wednesday and then got called in unexpectedly. Of all the games for that to happen- At least all the drama waited until I got off.
In the first picture in that series of 'em my fellow Gator posted... I know it's just a trick of perspective, but it looks like Muschamp's pocket is being picked.
Georgia Tech racked up a ridiculous number of rushing yards - in excess of 600 - to atone for their earlier pass-happy game. 12.1 yards per carry. Nice run defense there, Kansas.
The cafeteria on the opposite corner from the stadium still has all-you-can-eat pizza as part of the deal, right? I remember seeing Spurrier drop in to grab food when I was there. Those poor bastards are going to have to rethink that policy. Charlie will put a massive hole in the budget...
Oh, man, I do not like this ruling. Granted the wheels of justice are likely to roll on but right now... Uh, go 'Cocks? The NCAA deserves to have to deal with the ratings hit of a TCU title game.
LSU has been a low-scoring, defensive team all year long, so of course they get involved in a shootout with a team they should destroy. C'mon people. This is just how LSU rolls - unpredictable as all hell.
