My guess: Academics were always an issue. It looked for a while like he was getting them in order but the lack of an offer could be an idication that he never got where he needed to be. Or maybe because we had out pick of LB's in this class...

I agree, that does not seem like the big guy people are seeking. He's even being moved outside this year on his HS team... that's not to say he won't play inside and get big in college, but I don't see him being a big space-eater type DT.
