Keep in mind that the distance from Mission Viejo to Eugene Oregon is over 900 miles... which is roughly the same distance between Columbus and Florida. When was the last time you've heard a recruit from Jacksonville say that he plans to play at Ohio State so he can play for a "local" program?

I definetly did not want to read that tonight. It really sounds as if FAT Phil and tennecheat put on quite a show to even the odds in the recruitment of McCoy. Hopefully Mathis' decision to favor the vols won't become a factor in where McCoy decides to commit to in the weeks to come.

I'd like to believe so but the recent update from Schoenhoft leads me to believe that OSU is slowly falling out of favor with McKinney. Robby said that he's stopped attempting to persuade McKinney to become a buckeye because he gets the feeling that McKinney wants to go elsewhere.
