  1. An American Revolution quiz

Me too. Except, I wasn't perfect aside from that :P . Also thought Marshall was the first Chief Justice, d'oh
  2. '10 OH OL Matt James (Notre Dame Signee - RIP)

Quite honestly, that's exactly how I feel about it, too. His comments about OSU were great and all that--but has he come out and said that he "loved" us, or loved us more than the other schools he's considering? It seems like his comments are more saying "tOSU makes more sense than other...
  3. 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl - January 9, 1 PM EST, NBC

With most 5* type of recruits, if it's late in the game, I take a pessimistic approach. Just a pretty pragmatic thing to do, in my opinion.. Not getting your hopes up and whatnot. With Glenville recruits... I assume they're coming here. It tends to work out pretty well. I'll believe he's not...
  4. Penn State 19, Louisiana State 17 (final) Capital One Bowl

I've gotta say-- I love watching Clark play. Great kid and a great player.. Real fun to watch.
  5. Auburn 38, Northwestern 35 (final, OT) Outback Bowl

Well, that teaches me.. I was screaming at the TV, "STOP STRIPPING THE BALL, TACKLE THE DAMN GUY" Then they get a successful strip :p
  6. Lane Kiffin (HC Ole/Young Miss & Twitter Troll King)

No way Tennessee is the only school that does this... I'd bet at least 5-6 in the SEC do it and know about it...
  7. Cleveland Browns (2009 Season)

Personally I'm a fan of not necessarily using top-5 picks.. I like the approach the Browns had last year, where they kept trading down. When you have as many holes as the Browns do, I'm not sure it makes sense to try and have a 'savior', and that's what your top-5 pick often becomes.. Puts too...
  8. LaTwan Anderson (official thread)

Yep.. Especially the Glenville ones, 'cause they never commit unless they're pressured...
  9. 2009 Heisman Trophy discussion

Man I'm having a really hard time trying to decide who I want to win. On the one hand-- Gerhart.. Total stud. Shouldn't be punished for not playing 2 days ago. He makes Stanford's team. On the other-- Suh. A monster. It would be awesome to see a defensive player win it, especially one from...
  10. What song are you listening to right now

YouTube - Arcade Fire - Neon Bible live in an elevator! Amazing.
  11. Vbet Ideas

When we get bets for the BCS bowls, any chance we can get an "outright" bet with improved odds for each game? E.g. if Oregon is favored by 5.5, then a bet for who wins outright, tOSU or Oregon, but at 5/7 and 7/5 odds or something like that
  12. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

Hey, that'd be quite the accomplishment for them! Starting off the season 2-0 two years in a row would be a first since 2002 and 2003.
  13. How's the weather?

I woke up this morning, looked out the window.. And snow was everywhere :) First time that's happened since I lived in Ohio. Great feeling.
  14. 10 Facts About Yourself (Known or Otherwise)

    1. As you can probably guess by my username, I run cross country (and track) and have since 7th grade. 2. I'm incredibly injury prone. It really sucks. 3. I used to play soccer, and I always wonder if I would have been better off sticking with it, since I liked it more and was better at it. I...
  15. Brian "Body Kount" Kelly (HC Louisiana State)

No doubt Brian Kelly is a good coach. His offense is lights out. Night and day between Weis and Kelly.. Weis couldn't develop players worth crap. In 2007 his center couldn't snap a freakin football. He was used to X's and O'sing with experienced, elite players, not training 18-year-olds to be...
  16. DT Johnathan "Big Hank" Hankins (Seattle Seahawks)

If he wasn't glowing about TSUN after his visit, that would be a terrible sign for them. As it is, we're still in fine shape. Not as good as before, obviously, but we're definitely still in it.
  17. Texas 13, Nebraska 12 (final)

I'll trust ya on this one ;) I couldn't see a damn thing.
  18. Texas 13, Nebraska 12 (final)

Agree completely... I was rooting for Nebraska, and when I saw that play, I immediately thought "no way, there was at least one second left". You could maybe complain about the horse-collar. Unfortunately my feed was mighty crappy so I couldn't really see it, so I don't know.
  19. Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

No doubt. I might be wrong about him, he might be a great guy. I haven't met Mike Vick either, or plenty of other people whom I dislike.
